Welcome to Japan! Transfer to your hotel by shuttle bus. In the late afternoon, enjoy a metro ride (tickets included) to Shinjuku, one of Tokyo’s liveliest nightlife districts. Dinner included, then return to the hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy a 5-hour guided tour of Tokyo’s highlights: Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower photo stop Shibuya Crossing, the world’s busiest intersection Meiji Shrine Omotesando Boulevard Imperial Palace gardens and Nijubashi Bridge Akihabara (Electric Town) Kokugikan Sumo Stadium Sensoji Temple (Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple) Free time to explore Nakamise shopping street in Asakusa. Lunch included. Afternoon free for leisure. Note: During the Olympics, accommodations may be near Narita Airport.
Board the bullet train to Kyoto (approx. 2 hours 45 minutes). Full day exploring Kyoto: Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) Imperial Palace Fushimi Inari Shrine Free time before visiting Gion, Kyoto’s historic geisha district. Overnight in Kyoto.
Morning visit to Nara: Todaiji Temple with its giant Buddha and deer park (petting and feeding allowed) Lunch included. Visit Horyu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest wooden structures worldwide. Travel to Osaka in the evening. Explore Dotonbori, Osaka’s vibrant nightlife area.
After breakfast, proceed independently to Osaka airport for your flight back to India.
