The cost of a Hungary trip varies depending on the travel style and duration.

Budget trips: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,50,000 (flights, 3-star hotels, and basic sightseeing).
    Mid-range trips: ₹2,50,000 – ₹4,00,000 (4-star hotels, guided tours, and a few meals).

The most affordable time to visit Hungary is during the end of autumn (October–November) and beginning of spring (March–April).

During these months, both flights and hotels offer lower prices, and popular attractions are less crowded.

The peak season in Hungary is during the summer months (June–August) and Christmas holidays (December).

Expect higher prices, more tourists, and crowded attractions and hotels during these months.

Indian travelers need a Schengen short-stay visa to visit Hungary, valid for up to 90 days within 180 days.

The visa costs approximately €80 (₹7,000) for adults.
Children aged 6–12 years pay a reduced fee, while those under 6 years are exempt from fees.

Hungary is relatively affordable compared to Western Europe.

While flights from India can be costly, daily expenses for food, transport, and sightseeing are lower than in countries like France or Switzerland.
Enjoy delicious local cuisine and affordable restaurants and cafes for authentic Hungarian experiences.

Hungary offers unique and traditional souvenirs such as:
