Welcome to South Korea! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the hotel by group transport and meet your guide. In the late afternoon, we’ll dive into the vibrant city life by taking the sleek Seoul subway to City Hall, known for its unique tsunami-shaped building. Just opposite, admire the beautifully illuminated Deoksugung Palace—a perfect symbol of Seoul’s blend of tradition and modernity. Afterwards, we explored Myeongdong, the city’s busiest shopping district, known as the “brilliant tunnel.” Overnight at the hotel. Meals: Dinner

Day 1

After breakfast, embark on a five-hour city tour. Visit Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by lush gardens. Wander through Bukchon Hanok Village, a quaint neighborhood with traditional Korean houses. Explore the War Memorial Museum, offering deep insights into Korea’s turbulent history and the Korean War. Next, visit the dynamic Gangnam District, famous for its shopping and entertainment. End the tour at the towering LOTTE World Tower (entrance optional) with time to relax in the adjacent park or luxury shops. Return to the city center and enjoy free time. Overnight at the hotel. Day 2

Begin with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, catching the colorful Changing of the Guard ceremony if scheduled. Day 3

Travel through scenic mountain forests to Haeinsa Temple, founded in 802, home to the Tripitaka Koreana—an invaluable collection of Buddhist scriptures carved into woodblocks. Visit the temple and the Tripitaka museum. Continue to Daegu to explore the traditional herbal medicine market and the Oriental Medicine Museum. Day 4

Morning visit to Haedong Yonggung Temple, a striking sea-side Buddhist temple dating from the 14th century. Tour the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, honoring soldiers from across the globe. Day 5

Day 7

Day 8

Travel to Mount Koya, a sacred site in Shingon Buddhism with over 120 temples. Visit Okuno Mausoleum and Kongobuji Temple. Day 9

Day 11

Enjoy a 5-hour guided tour of Tokyo, starting at Zojoji Temple with views of Tokyo Tower. Visit the Meiji Shrine and walk through Omotesando’s elegant avenue. See the Imperial Palace grounds and the iconic Nijubashi Bridge. Pass through Akihabara (the “electric town”) and visit Kokugikan Sumo Stadium. Day 12

Day 14

Day 16
