Arrive at Georgia\'s capital city, Tbilisi, where your guide will meet you. He will transfer you to your hotel for check-in and good rest before exploring the afternoon in charming Old Tbilisi. Let\'s visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the largest in the world; take a ride on the cable car up to Narikala Fortress for panoramic views over the city; and meander down through the narrow streets admiring the colorful houses, finishing the evening with a traditional Georgian dinner accompanied by a glass of wine.
After breakfast, a day trip to the UNESCO-listed ancient capital town of Mtskheta. Visit the over-a-thousand-year-old Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and then go on to the Cave City of Uplistsikhe. The ancient town once was an important cultural and trading center; you get the chance to walk through its caves, tunnels, and temples. Return to Tbilisi in the late afternoon with some free time.
Drive through the morning to Kazbegi Village in the Caucasus Mountains. Stop along the way at Ananuri Fortress for its view over the Zhinvali Reservoir. Ascend to Gergeti Trinity Church built on a hill where you will enjoy the view of Mount Kazbegi, one of the high summits in the Caucasus. Explore the area, spend time in the calm mountain atmosphere, and return to Tbilisi for the evening.
On your last day, take a morning flight or the scenic drive to Batumi - the lively seaside city on the Black Sea. Spend the day by way of exploring famous botanic gardens, by taking a leisurely stroll along the beach and by visiting the pretty Piazza Square full of colorful mosaics and cozy cafes. It\'s already time to go back to Tbilisi in the evening, full of impressions of this wonderful laid-back seaside town. For your return home, a driver will take you to the airport for a flight with great memories of an absolutely fantastic journey.
